Blog Conclusion Post–Sophomore No Longer

Well, it’s all over. It’s been a long and tough semester and I am sure we are all ready for the break. Even if that break is only a week long before some of us start summer jobs. Yeah, so it goes.
Now, about this class, I must say I enjoyed it. I learned what I was hoping to learn: better ways to conduct research, whether WWW, databases, library catalogs, etc. I liked doing to research for my pathfinder, because sometimes it was like a puzzle. Effective and efficient research takes a little creativity, you can’t just type the same two word phrase into a search engine and find the best of the information out there to be found. I know I sound like a nerd, but I liked trying to different research methods, and the information I found on my topic was interesting. That is probably because I love film and film studies so my topic was perfect.
As for the blog and it’s role in the class. . .yet again, I really liked it. It is a neat and organized way to turn in assignments, you can never really lose it, and no there is no wasted paper. What is not to like?
Anyway, I hope everyone has a relaxing and fantastic summer!
